Awarding Organisation Status
City College Norwich was the first in the country in April 2008 to gain Awarding Organisation Status, which means that we are now able to accredit high quality training provided by employers with nationally recognised qualifications.
The College has used this new status, for example, to work with financial services companies such as Aviva, Axa, Moneyfacts, Virgin Money and the Norwich & Peterborough Building Society on the development of an Introduction to Financial Services course for new recruits to the sector.
